FC 24/25

In April 2023, I joined Electronic Arts as an Associate Technical Artist on the FC Ignite Team. The Technical Artists on the Ignite Team focus primarily on supporting the development of various mobile versions of FC as well as FC Online. Most recently I created the "Rapidly Adjust Vertices" Maya tool, which automates the process of fixing hair cap clipping issues. This tool uses ray casting to detect problem vertices then adjusts their positions until they are no longer clipping. The tool fixes the issue in 20 seconds and can be run by anyone, significantly freeing up artist time. Something I am very proud of is creating a tool within Maya called the "Broadcaster Animation Loader." This tool allows users to quickly load and unload animations and greatly speeds up the workflow of finding and fixing animation related bugs. I also created Python scripts in Maya to automate tasks such as positioning and rendering shoes and placing eyelashes onto character's heads. In addition to these, a major responsibility I had was supporting kit production, which entailed enhancing our existing asset pipeline and general bug fixing.
